Hey, my name is Alexander. I ride a Vespa sometimes and I've been documenting people during their most meaningful and adventurous life moments since 2011 (not at the same time, but what a hilarious idea though, right?).

I've experienced a generous serving of human circumstances that have made me laugh (the loud kind), cry (the ugly kind), and wonder how fortunate I am to have come upon such a wild and strange life. I'm deeply fascinated by how we live: the peculiar relationships we each share with one another, the weird glances between lovers, or the calm of staring into the eyes of nature. In between hiking, camping, and discussing which bourbon is best (there is no best bourbon), you'll find me photographing a story somewhere in the world.

To me, human stories are complex, and that's what makes it all so interesting in the first place. My heart soars in the mountains, but I don't believe great photography is just about photos of laughing and running across a giant impossible vista… however, that’s great fun :) It's also about the accidental in-between... the moment when you lose yourself in the very act of living. I've documented a lot of things, and I've come believe that magic - the real kind, not the abracadabra kind - happens when you mix art with reality. You know when you and your partner giggled for a half-second? It's my goal to capture that moment with unseen artistic intention and loads of feeling. For me, it's less about what things look like, and more how things feel. It's less "safe"... but then again, creative things are rarely safe. If you're into that, we're probably kindred spirits :)

While I could certainly say a lot of cliché stuff about documenting intimate weddings and elopements (no doubt you've read through a few of these "about me" novels already), I'll just say that I'm simply excited to meet you and capture your love in a bold way. We'll have boatloads of fun in the process. You can trust that I'm deeply invested, but don't take my word word it - read what these kind folks have to say here.

I want to to be a story-listener in your adventure, because I believe it's the best way to tell a love story. So if you're energized by the smell of a campfire, the embrace of your significant human, or hopping a few fences, then say hey! I swear I'm an excellent third wheel.

"I'm sitting here in tears just trying to put into words what this all means to me. What Mitch means to me. What our friends mean to us. What this place now means to all of us. After feeling jaded and insisting that making friends in our industry was futile, a couple of amazing souls picked us out of a crowd and told us we belonged to them. Heart and soul. They have given to us selflessly, built us up, made us feel worthy. Its not easy making friends when you are always at different parts of the world with busy schedules and stressful deadlines. But they make it feel almost too easy. Because we love them. And they love us. And so, this is our epic love fest. Filled with sunshine, David Bowie on the playlist and the beautiful storied towns of southern France."

"The raw truth: The Wayfarers are simply amazing at what they do. They are artists and true professionals in every sense of the words. From our very first conversation, they were immediately invested in getting to know us. We are so grateful they did. That personal approach paid dividends by the time our wedding weekend came around a year and half later. They sought to understand us, and that allowed them to honestly capture the essence of our relationship and our event. If you’re fine with the idea of your photographers just showing up for your wedding day, snapping the shutter, and sending you a photo album a few weeks later, then The Wayfarers are probably not for you. But if you’re seeking someone who will take the time to invest in your celebration and develop a meaningful relationship, then you’re likely not going to find anybody more capable and willing."

"The Wayfarers are incredible photographers. They will capture the essence of you, your love, and your event in all ways. As a duo, they have a creative eye that will show in your images. Make a good decision and have a conversation with them – you will know how intelligent, creative, and remarkable the Wayfarers are at that moment. The images speak for themselves – they are warm and interesting and better than anything a ‘normal photographer’ can shoot. These are remarkable images that capture nature and your surroundings, the feel of the day, the emotion between people. The shooting is comfortable and fun, you feel relaxed the entire time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Wayfarers! They are the dreamiest, most talented photographers you will find – book them now, this will be your easiest and best decision."
